AskSami or Native: which one for getting your first users?
Pick Native when you know what to say and where, and want the posting done. Pick AskSami when you do not yet know whether your product can sell or which channel fits. Native creates and posts your social media and runs Meta ads. Its pricing page, read on 8 October 2026, shows Pro at $79 per month, billed monthly, for one brand. AskSami is a marketing and distribution expert for founders: once you sign up it reads your product, says why it does or does not sell and ranks the channels, free the first time. It never posts or spends. Its paid plans are Starter $20, Growth $100 and Max $240 per month.
What Native is
Native is made by Native AS in Oslo, Norway. Its home page says what it does in one sentence.
Native creates and posts your social media and runs your ads, on autopilot.
You give it your website's address. Native's how it works page says it reads your site, your industry and your competitors, then builds a plan with more than fifty posts. You approve them one by one, or you switch on Autopilot.
Turn on Autopilot and Native stops asking about every post. It plans the next two weeks, picks the topics, writes and designs each post, and publishes on the days you chose. You get an email before anything goes out, usually the day before. Say nothing, and it goes.
Native's pricing page lists 13 channels on every plan: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Instagram Stories, Facebook Stories, YouTube, Threads, X, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and WhatsApp.
The same page says Native runs Meta ads on Facebook and Instagram on full autopilot, and that Google Ads and other paid channels beyond Meta are not live yet. Its Facebook ads page says you connect your own Meta ad account and set the total spend, Native builds and runs the campaigns, and Meta charges your card directly. The Autopilot announcement says review first is the default, so new ads wait until you approve them.
What Native costs
These are the prices Native's pricing page showed on 8 October 2026, in US dollars, with monthly billing selected.
| Plan | Price, billed monthly | What is included | Each extra |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $79 per month | 1 brand and 50 posts ready for approval | $39 per brand |
| Max | $249 per month | 3 brands, 50 × 3 posts ready for approval and five times the AI allowance | $39 per brand |
| Agency | $499 per month | 10 client workspaces with one brand each, and a named account manager | $69 per workspace |
| Enterprise | No list price | Quoted by its sales team | Quoted by its sales team |
The same page says yearly billing saves 20% and monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. VAT is added only when the customer is in Norway. The how it works page says Native is free to try with no card. Ad spend is on top: the Facebook ads page says the ads feature is included in the subscription and the media spend is separate.
What AskSami is
AskSami is a marketing and distribution expert for founders who have launched a product and cannot get users or paying customers. Sami is the expert you talk to in the chat. AskSami reads what you give it, all of it optional: your GitHub repository, up to 40 pages of your live site, and the screenshots, ad exports and payment exports. From that it writes an honest read of why the product does or does not sell, and a ranked plan of up to ten ways to get customers, free methods before paid ones.
AskSami never posts anywhere for you, never spends your money and never writes to your code. You do those things yourself. Signing up is free, and so are your full honest read and your ranked plan. A plan gives you more of Sami. The paid plans are Starter $20, Growth $100 and Max $240 per month, paid a month at a time with no contract. How AskSami works sets out each part.

When Native is the better pick
Native is the better pick when the open question is who will do the posting, not what to post or where.
- You know your buyers and what to say to them. They are on channels Native posts to, and what is missing is the hours to make and publish posts every week.
- You want Facebook and Instagram ads run for you. You have an offer that already sells and a budget in mind. AskSami never runs an ad.
- You run several brands or client accounts. The Max and Agency plans on Native's pricing page are priced for that. AskSami is for the builder who does the marketing alone.
- You want replies in one place. Native's how it works page describes one inbox for messages, comments and reviews. AskSami has none.
When AskSami is the better pick
AskSami is the better pick when you cannot yet say why nobody is buying.
- You launched and nobody signs up or pays. More posts will not tell you why. The honest read names the first thing wrong, or says that nothing wrong was found yet.
- You do not know which channel fits. Native publishes to the channels you connect. Whether your buyers are on Reddit, in search, in AI answers or reached only by paid ads is what the ranked plan answers. Distribution channels takes each one from its own rules.
- You want free methods tried before you spend. The plan puts them first, and a paid step gets one week if your product is bought on the page.
Native's Facebook ads page asks whether it can promise a return on what you spend, and answers in these words.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Native optimizes the campaign system and refreshes creative, but results still depend on your offer, price, market, website and available conversion data.
Whether the offer is one a stranger pays for is what the honest read answers. It scores the six things that decide whether a stranger pays.
Using both
They do different jobs, so using both is sensible, in this order.
- Start with whether the product sells. That is AskSami's honest read, free once you sign up. Fix the first thing it names before you pay for posting.
- Take the first step of the ranked plan. If it is a social channel such as LinkedIn or X or Reddit, or a one week test of Meta ads, the posting or the campaign is work Native can do.
- Bring the numbers back. The screenshots and exports you give Sami become dated records.
Questions people ask
Is Native or AskSami better for an app with no users yet?
It depends on what is missing. If you know who buys and what to say, Native does the posting. If you do not know why nobody signs up or which channel to try, that is what AskSami is for.
Does AskSami post to social media like Native does?
No. AskSami never posts anywhere for you, never spends your money and never writes to your code. You do those things yourself. Native does the posting, with your approval or on Autopilot.
How much does Native cost next to AskSami?
Native's pricing page showed Pro at $79, Max at $249 and Agency at $499 per month, billed monthly, on 8 October 2026, with ad spend on top. AskSami is free to sign up, with the honest read and the ranked plan, and its paid plans are Starter $20, Growth $100 and Max $240 per month. One price buys the posting, the other more of Sami and reading again whenever you ship.
Do I need a GitHub repository for either one?
No. Native starts from your website's address. AskSami reads whatever you give it, your site, your GitHub repository or your files, and none of them is required.
