Who runs AskSami
AskSami is run by Ancestorii Ltd, a company registered in the UK, trading as AskSami. It is built and run by one person, Dante, an aircraft mechanic who built Prep66, PrepAMT, Ancestorii and AquaPaws on his own and wrote AskSami's rules out of what each one cost him. AskSami reads a founder's GitHub repository, live website and ad numbers, then says plainly why the product does or does not sell, ranks the ways to get customers for that product, and keeps a dated record of every number and decision it is given. Sami is the expert inside it, the one you talk to.
The company
- Ancestorii Ltd, registered in the UK, trading as AskSami. Receipts say ASKSAMI.APP.
- Questions and support go to support@asksami.app. There is no phone line and no office to visit.
- The rules it works under are on Terms and Privacy: what it does and does not do, what it stores, and how to delete an account.
The founder
Dante works shifts as an aircraft mechanic and builds on his days off. He built AquaPaws, a Shopify store that sold and still died; Ancestorii, a family memories subscription that never had a paying customer; and Prep66 and PrepAMT, exam preparation for aircraft engineers, which got strangers to pay within weeks of one free post. AskSami is what he built from the difference.
- Why AskSami exists is the whole story in his own words.
- The founder's numbers, dated is every figure the site quotes, with its date and where it comes from.
- What I posted on Reddit while Ancestorii failed is the five posts, word for word.
- He is on LinkedIn, and he posts on Reddit as u/keepingmemories.
Sami, the expert inside
Sami is the marketing and growth expert inside AskSami: the one who reads a product's code, live site and numbers and answers in the chat. It speaks as itself, has no product of its own, and never borrows the founder's story unless asked directly where it came from. How AskSami works says what it reads, what it writes and when you pay.
Not to be confused with
Several other products carry the name Sami, and none of them is this one. AskSami lives at asksami.app and nowhere else.
- AskSAMIE is an app for the caregivers of older adults. It has nothing to do with AskSami, and its founder did not build AskSami.
- Sami at sami.bot is an ad automation platform by AdConversion, which runs ad budgets across Google, Meta and LinkedIn. AskSami never spends money and never runs ads for anyone.
- askSam was a desktop database program whose last version came out in 2008.
- SAMI, in the names of several marketing agencies and sales tools, is not AskSami either.
