How do I get a public page for my product on AskSami?

AskSami is a marketing and distribution expert for founders who have launched a product and cannot get users or paying customers. On a paid plan it also gives your product a public page on asksami.app. Sami fills the page in first, from what it knows. You rewrite any of it in your own words, pick your screenshots, tick the figures you want shown, and send it to the founder of AskSami. The founder, a person, reads it and publishes it, or sends it back with a note. The page shows your words, your screenshots and your ticked figures, never a read or a score. It stays up after you cancel.

What the page is

Your page lives at asksami.app/products followed by your product's name, in a frame of its own. AskSami is named on it in two places, the crumb at the top and the line Written with AskSami at the bottom, and nowhere else: not in the title, not in the description, not in the link preview. The title in the browser tab and in search results is yours alone.

It shows your title and your tagline, who it is for, what it does, why it is different, your price in words, a button to your product, up to 6 screenshots in the order you put them, and the figures you ticked. Nothing else: no read, no verdict, no score, no comment, no vote, no form and no sign up box.

It is listed on Products on AskSami, in the sitemap, in llms.txt and in the structured data, which names your product, and its category and price when you give them. Its address is sent to the search engines when the founder publishes it.

Why it is worth having

A page about your product on a site that search engines and AI assistants already read, written by you, in the words your buyers type. It links to your product. It is listed where the crawlers look. And it keeps standing after you stop paying: a cancelled plan closes the editor, never the page.

There is no add your product button anywhere on AskSami, and no form to fill in. A page is published only once Sami has written its honest read of your product and the founder has written the Founder review, so every product on the index was read by both before its page went up.

How you write it

  1. On a paid plan, once Sami's honest read of your product is written and your product has a name, press Your public page in the head of your Verdict tab. It opens your page as it will look.
  2. Sami fills the page in first, once, from what it knows of your product: the title, the tagline, who it is for, what it does, why it is different, the price, the link, the button words, your screenshots and the words for search engines. AskSami pays for that fill, not your allowance.
  3. Rewrite any of it, or all of it, in your own words and your own spelling. No house rule of AskSami's applies to your page, and your product's name goes exactly as you write it. Every change saves as you type.
  4. Pick your screenshots, up to 6, and put them in the order you want. Tick the figures that may appear: signups so far and payments so far. Nothing you do not tick ever shows, and unticking takes a figure off the live page at once.
  5. Press Send to the founder. The founder reads your page exactly as it will look and publishes it, or sends it back with a note in your Founder thread. Nothing goes live without your Send and the founder's Publish.
  6. To change it later, edit it the same way and send it again. The founder republishes it at the same address, which never changes.

The people you bring into your account can write the page and send it too. The figures are yours alone to tick.

How long it takes, and how you are told

Most pages are reviewed within the first couple of hours and the majority within the first 24 hours, but allow up to 72 hours. The bar above your page says where it stands: not sent yet, sent and waiting, sent back with a note, or live with its address.

When the founder publishes it, a line from the founder lands in your Founder thread with the address, and a letter tells you, at most one an hour, with a switch on your Account page. A note the founder sends back reaches you the same way.

What it costs

Signing up is free, and so are your full honest read and your ranked plan. A plan adds more of Sami and a Founder review. The paid plans are Starter $20, Growth $100 and Max $240 per month, paid a month at a time with no contract. The page comes with every one of the paid plans, at no extra cost, and Sami's first fill of it uses none of your allowance. On the free plan, Your public page shows Not published yet with a Starter tag beside it.

Sign up free, get your honest read, then pick a plan. The pricing on the home page lists what each plan holds.

After you cancel

A cancelled plan stops at the end of the period you paid for, and the account moves to Free. Your page stays up as it was last published. Editing closes, apart from taking a figure off, which works on any plan. Reopen the plan and you can send changes again.

To take the page down, write to support@asksami.app and it is taken down. AskSami may also take a page down when it breaks the law or the Terms, and tells the account owner why. Deleting your account takes the page with it.

Questions people ask

How long until my page is live?

Most pages are reviewed within the first couple of hours and the majority within the first 24 hours, but allow up to 72 hours. It goes live when the founder publishes it, at an address that never changes.

Can the founder change my words?

No. The founder reads your page as it will look and publishes it, or sends it back with a note in your Founder thread. The founder never writes a word of it.

Can I show my revenue on the page?

Only the two figures you tick in the editor, signups so far and payments so far, as AskSami has them on record, each frozen with its date when the page is published. Nothing you do not tick ever shows, Sami never ticks one, and unticking takes a figure off the live page at once.

Can I use my own screenshots?

Yes. Any screenshot of yours that AskSami holds, from the setup, the Account and Channels tabs, Sami's chat or your own lines of the Founder thread, as a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 6. Never one the founder sent you. Each is made again before it goes public, so a photo's hidden details, such as where it was taken, do not go with it.

What happens to the page when I cancel?

It stays up as it was last published. Your account moves to Free at the end of the paid period, the editor closes apart from taking a figure off, and editing comes back when you reopen the plan. To take the page down, write to support@asksami.app.

Does the page cost extra?

No. It comes with every paid plan, and Sami's first fill of it is paid by AskSami, not from your allowance. On the free plan there is no page.
